Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between organic and non organic grass fed beef?
All-natural grass-fed beef can be any animal raised but not finished or flattened by being grain fed. These animals are still exposed to all the environmental problems resulting from spays, and chemicals used to control brush and parasites. In addition, these animals are typically exposed to growth hormones and other types of growth stimulants. Also, any grain or hay fed to theses animals can be GMO (genetically modified organism) products. Certified Organic animals are held to a strict set of guidelines. Organic animals can not be exposed to any non-certified organic products. All hay, any feed, and all pasturelands must be certified organic. It takes three years and several soil samples to certify crop land and pastureland. We are certified by the state of Oklahoma and inspected annually on all our Crops, Pasturelands, and Animals. An organic certified product is totally different from anything else you are going to buy. For those that want to get away from chemicals, hormones, drugs, and GMO (genetically modified organisms) Certified Organic Products are a must.
  • Is organic beef for everyone?
There are many ideas and oppinoins about beef in the world and we belive everyone needs to find what fits them and there wants. With that said, we do believe we offer some of the cleanest and best beef products you can find. We spend more time and work harder to build the quality in our cattle and crops than most. Our goal is to produce a healthy desirable product that can be enjoyed by everyone. There is a saying “You are what you eat”. So, let’s eat the best, be healthy, and enjoy life with less visits to the Doctors.
  • What kind of cattle do you raise?
We raise Limousin, Angus, and a limflex (Limousin Angus cross). some people like a lean meat and we can get that from Limousin and some like a little more fat which we get from Angus. But most like the limflex that gives a well balanced meat. For those that want strictly lean meat, we suggest more Limousin in the bloodline.
